Help Ted Beat Choriocarcinoma

Our beloved son/brother/uncle/nephew/friend Theodore has been diagnosed with stage IIIC Choriocarcinoma, an advanced, rare form of testicular cancer. The cancer has spread throughout his body, and there are malignancies in his lungs, liver, and duodenum (bowel). The malignancies are causing some issues with his kidneys and intense pain. Thankfully, Ted has already started treatment, including an orchiectomy and the first of four rounds of chemotherapy.

 

Since this cancer is highly aggressive and rare and has spread throughout his body, Ted's many doctors are keeping a close eye on him. He has an appointment almost every day at one of the many offices, clinics, hospitals, etc., across the Cities.

 

Financial support will go toward medical bills for Ted's treatment, specialized care/supplies, logistical needs (e.g., gas to get to appointments), and other (unforeseen) expenses related to his illness and treatment. We are very fortunate to have the support of family and friends while navigating the medical system, the reality of how Ted's life will change, and the many logistics required to get Ted the care he needs.
