These are unprecedented times for the hospitality industry. True Laurel strives to provide the best service and a safe space for all its guests. We are also committed to a safe space for our team, and we, like the rest of the hospitality realm are cooperating with the lockdown of covid-19 so we can all hopefully get through this mess. Unfortunately, our delayed tactics and calls of isolation have left many small businesses with little chance of getting through it.
We will be launching a to-go food program to hopefully minimize damage, but this outlet offered is a program with infrastructure that TL was not built upon, so we will be jumping into a sea of service that is already flooded with others trying to survive.
With an anguishing effort to make it to the end of the tunnel, most businesses have had to lay off all or the majority of their staff. It saddens us to let go of the family that helped us build TL into what it is today. We are giving the furthest extension to our staff that we can offer without completely crumbling at this time. We have provided the resources that we know of and are still compiling more. Unfortunately, there are employees that will never have access to certain resources. We ask for your kind donation to help keep our Team True. Funds raised will be dispersed as follows
60%- To those employees that cannot receive benefits (equally)
35%- To the rest of the unemployed staff (equally)
5%- Keep the lights on
