Teacher D'Anthony Dorsey Memorial Stone Fund
At just 24yrs old D' Anthony has lost his battle with Covid-19 and we are deeply pained to make this update.
The outpouring of prayers and support for D'Anthony and his loved ones over the last few weeks has brought comfort to this entire family. It is with tears in our eyes we make this update to his page. He fought a long tough battle for over 3 weeks but God needed his sweet angel to return home and on the evening of September 14, D transitioned to be with the Lord.
D was a teacher of Marine Biology & Physical Science at Auburndale High School & many will tell you, "to know him is to love him". Your support will help his family lay him to rest and cover his final expenses.
Since he fell ill so many have reached out, from his 1st-grade teacher to his own students. On behalf of the family, we thank each of you and appreciate your continued prayers for his loved ones especially his mother Lydia.
As a lifelong athlete and competitive chess player, D has always been a pillar of positivity and would light up any room with his big smile.
He will be missed more deeply than words can say. He was loved by all who knew him & will continue to have a special place in each of our hearts, until we meet again...#DorseyStrong
