Help Taylor Stay Forever Strong

On October 5, 2017 our fearless fighter, Taylor Russell, suffered a massive stroke at the age of 23. She is currently fighting in the ICU and is in critical condition. Taylor has undergone several surgeries including having a portion of her skull removed to allow the brain to swell. Unfortunately, the brain continues to swell. To help prevent further damage, she has been put into a medically induced coma.

As some of you may know, Taylor, a single mother to her beautiful 17 month old “miracle” daughter Emarie, has many other health issues that are complicating procedures and treatment to help reduce the swelling of her brain. She was diagnosed with Lupus 6 years ago. Along with Lupus came additional chronic diseases including Lupus Nephritis (Kidney disease), Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Hashimoto disease (Thyroid disease), and Avascular Necrosis (death of bone tissue).

Taylor has a very long and painful road ahead of her. She eventually will be moved to a rehab facility.
Emarie is now in the care of Taylor's parents, Tammy and Roger. They have stopped everything to be by Taylor's side and meet Emarie's needs. They have not worked since Taylor's stroke and are uncertain when they will be able to return.
Taylor's insurance will cover some medical expenses and rehab, but certainly not all.
Taylor's family is extremely thankful for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers they have received. As her extended family, we are reaching out to anyone who would like to help financially with Taylor, her family, and Emaire so her family can continue to be by her side during this critical and heartbreaking time, care for Emarie and help get the best possible prognosis and recovery.
