Help Tantan fight his cancer relapse - Leukemia

Resh Nathan "Tantan" Furmentera is a brave gorgeous 8 year old boy from Cebu City, Philippines. He is currently fighting cancer the second time around, when his doctors confirmed he has a Relapsed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, now targeting his central nervous system  after his treatment finished in July 2019..

I met Tantan back in 2015 when he was just 5 years old, and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in his bone marrow. It was the most depressing and heartbreaking moment in their lives, and being a parent myself I could not begin to imagine how it would feel like to be told such a dreadful news about your child. The only consolation they held onto is the fact that ALL is curable. Tantan underwent 4 long years of chemotherapy treatments and bone marrow procedures from 2015 - 2019.

Tantan is now 8 years old, and he had been so brave in this fight. The family were so happy a few months ago when Tantan was declared free from cancer in July 2019. But that happiness did not last long, because 2 months after, Tantan has to face this battle again when he had his relapse. The relapse was detected when Tantan has been complaining of serious headaches, chills, and  seizures. The doctor has pronounced later on that Tantan's ALL has relapsed, and this time, the cancer has been seen in Tantan's Central Nervous System (in his head). The doctor explained that the normal body fluid is between 0-10, but when Tantan had his relapse his body fluid went as high as 1918. 

Tantan and his family were shattered when they received another dreadful and devastating news, AGAIN!

With Tantan's relapse, he is currently undergoing more intense treatments, the doctor recommended the following treatment plan in order to target the CNS relapse and prevent it from spreading to the bone marrow again:
- chemotherapy - 3 times a week
-BMA inthratecal (bone marrow) - twice a month
- scans and admissions
- blood transfusions and antibacterial treatments

Tantan and his family need every help they can get in order to continue his treatments. They live in Cebu City, Philippines where there is very little to no medical assistance from the Government and social welfare organisations. They also don't have private help insurance, because they couldn't afford to get one.
