Help Tammie Fight

Donation protected

Hi friends and family,

We are raising money so that I can get my mom back and my dad can get his wife back. On July 7th our lives changed when blood flooded Tammie's brain from a subarachnoid hemorrhage and introcerebral bleeding. She ended up being rushed to Sky Ridge hospital unable to move or speak and then airlifted to Swedish hospital. Our family has no insurance, one kid in college and another heading into his senior year of high school. Please help us get our mom back. (Full story below).

On July 7th, Tammie was heading to a wedding in Boulder. Once she got there with Dylan she suddenly got a very intense painful headache. Dylan then drove her back home thinking it was another one of her usual migraines. Later that night, after a few times of Brian checking on her, the last time she had been sitting up unable to speak to Brian. He then called an ambulance and she was rushed to Sky Ridge hospital in Lone Tree. Shortly after that she was air lifted to Swedish hospital in Englewood and was admitted into the Neuro Critical Care Unit. They had found that her brain had been bleeding. Through her stay here at Swedish so far we know these things; We know she has subarachnoid hemorrhage, which is blood around the brain and also has introcerebral bleeding, which is blood inside the brain. The doctors have told us that the location of the blood is very unusual and this case in general is very odd. She also has suffered from a hemorrhagic stroke which is caused by bleeding of the brain. As of right now the doctors are fairly stumped on what could have caused this and why the blood has the pattern it does. The only idea they have right now is this could be RCVS, which stands for Reversible Cerebral Vasoconstriction Syndrome. This is when blood vessels in the brain are constricting, almost "kinking" in a sort of way. This can cause the blood vessels to become confused and also can cause them to have so much pressure build up that they rupture. This is the only information we have so far.
Tammie has had 2 CT scans, 1 MRI, 1 Angiogram (which is where they go into an artery in the groin and inject dye into the blood stream so that they can see the blood vessels in the scan), 1 EEG, blood work, and she has daily Doppler ultrasounds. We have another Angiogram scheduled for Thursday and she will continue to get CT scans to make sure she isn't still bleeding and the blood is reabsorbing into her body.
Without insurance, this could have a major impact on our lives and we want the best care that we can give our mom and wife. Thank you everyone in advance for just taking the time to read this.
