Help TAG Pet Rescue survive Covid-19

Help TAG Pet Rescue get through Covid-19.

We've been helping pets in east Kent for over 30 years and we want to be sure we can continue to provide this lifeline for at least another 30 years more. The Covid-19 outbreak has hit us hard - our charity shops have had to close, they are our only regular source of income and we don't know when we will be able to re-open.

Founded in 1988, we are a registered charity that rescues and re-homes unwanted pets in and around east Kent. We take in dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents, birds and occasionally reptiles who are unwanted, stray or abandoned or whose owners can no longer care for them. We are a no-kill shelter and strongly believe that every animal deserves a chance at finding happiness.

Providing we have the space to accommodate them, we never turn an animal away, regardless of any medical or behavioural problems they may have.

We are passionate about providing better than basic care for pet animals and ensuring that high physical and mental welfare standards are upheld at all times.

We are asking for financial help to continue funding the care of the animals currently at the sanctuary over the next 2 months while it looks highly likely that our shops will be closed, but the shops could have to remain closed for much longer. The £5000 goal is what we need to cover the cost of care for the next 2 months.

To care for our animals, every month we need:
£30 per cat
£210 per dog
£23 per rabbit
£23 per guinea pig
£10 per reptile
£44 per aviary
And this does not include medication and veterinary costs for animals with ongoing conditions.

Please help us to help those who cannot help themselves, the furry and feathered friends that have been caught up in this terrible crisis.

Any donations above our goal would be used to care for animals that will need our help in future, and with the economic situation becoming tough for many people we expect our services to help pets to be in high demand over the coming months.
