Help Taejon's Treehouse Cat Cafe Become Reality

Taejon's Treehouse was started by Melissa and her son, Taejon. Our mission at Taejon's Treehouse is to create an atmosphere of Kindness ~ Compassion ~ Community by helping local cats find families and connect with our community through events and programs.
Currently, we are located online and working through Facebook and within the community to raise funds for our physical location. We have periodic contests for our supporters, created a photo calendar to raise funds, and held an online silent auction to raise funds.
We have broken our goals up into 5 stages:
1. $15, 000 will provide the funds needed for licenses and fees, rent while we are setting up and during our 1st month of operation, and lounge equipment and furniture
2. $11,000 for remodeling to include a cat lounge, a back room for the cats, a kitchen, and a dining room that all meet local and state regulations.
3. $10,000 for dining room equipment including tables, seating, dinnerware, utensils, trash cans, etc.
4. $17,000 for kitchen equipment such as a grill, sinks, refrigeration, prep table, etc.
5. $10,000 to cover beginning wages for employees, not including Melissa.
Our Go Fund Me is just one of the ways that we are raising money for this venture. We are currently working on setting up our Cottage Bakery to introduce some of our baked goods that will eventually be offered at the cafe as well as raise the money needed for the physical location.
