A Message from Leslie:
Becoming the owner of Sweet Heat Hot Yoga almost four years ago was the culmination of my 25+ year pursuit to help people preserve good health and vitality. When our yoga studio first opened over 20 years ago, hot yoga was still a new phenomenon. The studio was not an immediate success. “Why,” people would ask, “would I want to go into a 105-degree room and sweat for an hour-and-a-half?!” But once they gave it a try, miracles began to occur: Injuries healed. Physical and emotional pain subsided. Liars found the truth. Anger turned to empowerment, and sadness became joy! Our individual experiences are different, but the transformations are REAL! Our students, and there have now been thousands over the years, can provide testament to the power of the Bikram method of hot yoga.
A steady flame, it has never once seemed possible that our momentum could falter and our studio could fail, but we’re in new territory now.

We have been faced with formidable challenges. Our studio space had already been closed to the public since March 13th. Now, at the end of our lease, our landlady is not agreeable to discounted lease terms making it impossible for us to go forward in the space that has been our home for 20 years.
So, November 31, 2020 will be our last day of occupying our beloved Pacific Grove studio.
But that's OK, we will start again and be ourselves in a NEW place!

When the time is right, when Covid-19 has passed, we will relocate, rebuild and reopen! And it will be better than before. It will take time, but it will happen. If you know me and my husband, Mike, you know that when we say we will do something, it gets done. All of our beloved teachers are still on board, and we are determined to keep the flame alive! Any ongoing donations would be above-and beyond what is expected, but if you choose to donate, I assure you that every penny will be used to rebuild and renew.
