The News.
Four months ago, our beautiful and talented friend Susan Benson, was given devastating news - she had Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. The cancer had already spread to her liver, which meant operating was not an option. Her prognosis did not look good. Shocked, scared and sad, yet determined, Susan started her journey to becoming a Cancer Survivor!
Her Options.
After hearing her options from the Oncologist here in Bend and traveling to OHSU in Portland to learn about clinical trials, Susan chose to not undergo Chemo and Radiation or enter into a Clinical Trial.
Her Choice.
Susan chose to treat her cancer holistically.
Susan started a very healthy and strict diet, began getting Vitamin C and Misletoe injections, along with about a million other pills and/or vitamins. This treatment left her weak, nauseous and depressed. But Susan kept fighting! However, after several months, we began to fear that this treatment may not be enough.
And then we heard about an Institute making remarkable strides in Cancer Treatment!
Next Step - Mexico.
Susan is going to undergo treatment at the Hope4Cancer Institute in Mexico this July!
Hope4Cancer Institute provides Rigvir, a powerful treatment that selectively targets cancer cells with a radar-like precision. Rigvir is the only known genetically unmodified virus in the world that infects and kills cancer cells, while leaving healthy cells untouched.
