Help Survivors who have been harmed by AFRICOM & U.S. Militarism

The U.S. government has conducted approximately 202 airstrikes in Somalia since 2017, and has been striking and bombing Somalia since 2007. Most of the U.S. attacks have been done by AFRICOM (U.S Africa Command Program), however CIA airstrikes and ground operations are not required to be officially confirmed or denied. Regardless, these attacks have had a disastrous impact, with some reports indicating that they’ve resulted in the murder of at least 2,682 Somali people since 2007, including non combatants and children, while displacing around 493,000 people since 2019. The U.S. military makes no attempts to communicate with witnesses or survivors of the attacks, but yet announces, very rarely, information about who was killed during its operations. This causes major under reporting of people who have been injured or killed.

Despite many calls to the U.S. government to provide reparations for families affected by the attacks, so far nothing has been done. Families of the declared casualties have not been contacted or offered compensation for harm. This lack of effort inspires us to help survivors who have never been offered support after repeated U.S. imposed calamities. We are in contact with survivors on the ground in Somalia and we are currently working on getting direct aid out as soon as possible. Most of the people we are in contact with are internally displaced people (IDP) that live in various camps in and around Mogadishu, these camps have survivors numbering well into the thousands. Some have sustained injuries from AFRICOM and don't have the finances to acquire medical help. Most have fled the nearby Lower Shabelle province, where the brunt of the U.S. strikes often take place, affecting their rural villages and farming communities. They are currently languishing in dire conditions and need all the help they can get. All funds will be used for direct financial aid, medical treatment, food, supplies, displacement support, and any other needs that may arise.

Please contact [email redacted] if you have been impacted by AFRICOM.  Also, contact us if you'd like information regarding the issuing of funds with confirmation of your donation.
