This golden retriever was unable to be sold with the others in her litter due to a rare birth defect and diagnosis of “ectopic ureter.” Essentially this means that the tubes from her kidneys to her bladder were formed incorrectly while she was most likely a fetus. This causes incontinence,  repeated bladder infections, and extreme irritation of the skin if not cleaned properly and consistently.  The only treatment is surgery and or potentially some new laser corrections involving a catheter type procedure. If you can find it in your heart and afford it in your wallet during these times, even a few dollars can be a real big help. Thank you.
