Help Support The Morning Family

Hi, my name is Larry Schaefer. My wife and I are dear friends of the Mornings. On

Thursday, January 25th on his way home from work, John was hit head on by a drunk driver. He

was 2 miles from home when it happened on Route 70 in Tabernacle. To date he has

undergone 6 surgeries to correct internal injuries to his spleen, small and large intestines as well

as multiple fractures in both legs and hips. Since the accident, John continues to require close

monitoring for the internal injuries to his abdomen and legs. John is a husband to Debbie and

father to a precious 3 year old daughter, Ella. This has taken an unimaginable emotional toll on

the family. We are hoping to raise money to cover the overwhelming medical expenses that this

family will be incurring in the near future. John was in the ICU for 15 days and is currently still on

the med surg unit of the hospital for an unforeseen amount of time. His recovery will be a very

long road. John is a physical therapist. The injuries he has suffered will certainly impact his

ability to return to work for a very long time. We are eternally grateful for the love and support of

family and friends and hope that any donations received will help to reduce the stress and

anxiety of the family in dealing with unexpected financial burdens.
