Dear Friends and Family,

We reach out to you as we share the heartbreaking news of our beloved Big Brother, Hector Madera—a man whose larger-than-life personality and immense love for life have touched us all. Known for his grand 'Lechonazos', exuberant Super Bowl parties, and lively BBQ weekends with 80s music echoing through the air, Hector has always been a big figure in our lives, in more ways than one. His spirit and joy has brought many wonderful memories to our brotherhood.

Hector is now facing the toughest battle of his life with pancreatic cancer that has spread aggressively to his liver and kidneys. Despite these overwhelming challenges, his unwavering faith in Jehovah God remains his cornerstone. Hector frequently shares how his faith provides him comfort and strength:

"We win some battles and lose some. The one battle I won’t lose is Hope. Jehovah strengthens me."

"Your prayers are being answered because my hope, fortified by my faith in Jehovah, is stronger than ever."

These heartfelt words reflect Hector's deep-rooted faith and gratitude toward the divine support he feels every day. Now, as he cherishes every moment with his beloved wife, Kisha, and their beautiful children, Eli and Mya, he finds peace and strength in the prayers and positivity of those around him.

As a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Hector has been a pillar of strength and joy for us all. It's our turn to support him and his family through these incredibly challenging times as he now faces hospice care.
