Hi everyone! I hope everyone reading this is having a good day. Recently, my cat unfortunately had a urinary obstruction/blockage and his kidney levels were affected. Urinary obstructions/blockages are life-threatening if left untreated, so veterinary care is crucial.
He is currently receiving inpatient care at an emergency veterinary hospital for some time to ensure that he is fully unblocked, his kidneys do not go into failure, and he fully recovers. Prior to that, he had received outpatient care at our primary vet. The total cost would be upwards of $7,000+ for exams, imaging and testing, sedation, treatment, medication, in-hospital stay and monitoring, etc. We are attaching the deposit from the vet hospital (this will be updated with the final amount once he is discharged) and the itemized invoice from our primary vet.*
*Note: Please see updates and attached links for updated treatment and costs.
My sister and I have some money saved, but we would greatly appreciate any donations that would help with his costs. Every contribution counts! Tanuki is the world to us. He's the friendliest and sweetest cat (everyone who has met him can vouch for this, including our vet and vet techs!) who loves people, dogs, plants, cuddling, and the world around him. He's an integral part of our lives and hearts and we just want to make sure that he continues to be a happy and healthy cat!
