On April 1st, 2018  Ivan Richard Ferderbar was born to mom Helen, dad Matthew, and sister Sylvia. He was born weighing 8 lbs 13 oz and 20.5" tall. Ivan was born with an unexpected incomplete neural tube closure known as myelomeningocele spina bifida. Ivan and dad were flown to Anchorage and he has been getting the medical care he needs. In his short month of life Ivan has endured 3 surgeries and he has been fighting bravely. While this isn't how we've anticipated the first month of our newborn's life going, we are thrilled to have baby Ivan in our lives and feel blessed at all the outpouring of love from so many. Please keep baby Ivan in your thoughts and prayers, he means the world to us.
