I know that many people would like to help the Sawyer family as much as I do, so, I am raising money for my dear friend and her amazing family - a family whom we all love and adore!
In January 2021, the Sawyer family was made aware that their oldest child, Layla, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The brain tumor is located on her left optic nerve. Given the location of the tumor, surgery is not an option because she could lose her eyesight. Layla will be getting weekly chemo treatments through a port in her chest.
**I noticed that some people made donations to the Caring Bridge website in honor of Layla, which is amazing, but I would also love for the Sawyer family to be able to receive some donations that would go directly to them. These donations would help to lighten the load of expenses they will incur.**
Like most of us, their health insurance will cover some of the expenses, but this will be a long journey that will affect the Sawyer family on so many levels. Please help me raise money for this unexpected journey forced upon them and help me remove some of the financial burdens from their shoulders so that they can focus on getting Layla healthy.
Layla is such a strong, brave, smart, and talented girl. Her family is thankful to live close to excellent doctors and they are trusting in God and praying for complete healing. They truly appreciate your support, prayers, and words of hope and encouragement!
