Help support Laura on her road to recovery

This fundraiser has been established  to support the family of Laura Harte Nowak– a very proud county Tyrone woman who has been living in Sydney for the last 16 years with her husband and two young children aged 10 and 12. Sadly, Laura had a very bad accident last month that resulted in a serious head injury where she has since been in intensive care at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Thankfully, Laura is showing signs of recovery but has a very long road ahead of her to get back to the life she had before the accident.

 

Many of Laura’s extended friends and family have asked to help, so we have decided to set up this go fund me page for people to help in a small way towards Laura’s tough journey ahead. We are also seeking the support of the Irish community in Australia, who will know that living so far from home is unthinkable under these circumstances. These valuable funds will enable a member of Laura’s immediate family to come to Australia to support Laura’s husband and children in the months ahead and also pay for the essential recovery costs that the family will have to cover.

 

Laura is so kind and generous, always the first to help anyone that needs it and will be so incredibly grateful for all of your support.
