Help Support Kristina's Recovery!

Hi, my name is Amanda and I am asking for donations for my sister, Kristina Alexander, who was the victim of a "hit-and-run" on the morning of June 16. Kristina was walking with her 5-year-old daughter Lily back to their home when a vehicle struck her from behind and sent her into the adjacent ditch. Lily was miraculously unharmed but had to witness the entire event in terror. A concerned passerby stopped to help and stayed with her until paramedics arrived. She was medically flown to the nearest trauma center where they discovered she had a complete break in her left femur. Thankfully, she wasn't significantly injured elsewhere, but her broken leg was excruciatingly painful. Within 24 hours she endured a rod placement surgery to support the broken bone, but she will have a long road of rest and physical therapy ahead of her. We are all heartbroken for her and wondering if, and when, she'll get the closure or justice she deserves for this horrific event. However, we are all SO GRATEFUL that she is still with us today.

I am asking for donations to help ease the financial burden she may face. This will support her family if any unpaid leave of absence is utilized, for medical bills that arise, and any other expenses that may need to be covered. They are a single-income family. 100% of donations will go straight to them.

My sister is a very strong woman, but right now she needs our strength! Please consider helping, even if you don't personally know Kristina or her family. If you know me, then essentially you also know my sister because we are very much alike and she's my best friend!
