Help Support Law School Cafe employees!

The law school cafe at the University of Michigan Law School is shutting down due to the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, Picasso, the company that runs the cafe, had to let go Katie and Caleb as well as the other beloved cafe staff, Wendy, Renee, and Tom. The University of Michigan Law community would like to support them during this time as the cafe remains closed. All donations will go to Katie and Caleb, who will then distribute the money to themselves and the other cafe staff according to their usual work share/work hours.

Sam Bagenstos and Leah Litman (two University of Michigan law professors) started this fundraiser. All of the funds will go to the cafe staff to support them so long as they do not have income from Picasso and the law school cafe. (Picasso anticipates hiring them again once the cafe reopens.) We will distribute funds from the campaign to Katie's bank account, and as the cafe manager she will manage how the funds are allocated among the staff. Thank you, so much, for your support.
