Help support Jera Jennings

On 11/20/2022, my niece, Jera, and her father were in a severe car accident in the late afternoon on Highway 41 in Appleton, WI. Jera was one of many that were transported to the hospital with severe injuries and sadly her father, Tim, did not survive. Jera is currently in the ICU and her road to recovery is going to be long both physically and emotionally. The loss of her father and the trauma of remembering the accident leaves her with a broken heart while having to focus on healing multiple broken and fractured bones. Her ankle was shattered in the crash as well as fractured ribs and a fracture to her spine. She also suffered severe facial injuries, specifically to her jaw, that not only cause her pain but also hinder her ability to communicate easily with those around her. She is a strong and amazing young woman and is making forward progress but with that also comes frustrating setbacks and new issues and challenges to navigate throughout the process.
