Help Support End of Life Costs For Dave Whitehead

As many of you know, on January 7th, 2022, Dave Whitehead died after a brief battle with liver cancer. Dave was still creating soulful rock'n'roll music into the last month of his life.

Dave loved people, and he loved music. He was endlessly creative, loved playing music, and enjoyed the camaraderie that came with getting together with people to play music. Playing in public soothed his soul, and he left us way too soon.

Dave's family has decided to hold a private cremation, with a celebration of his life at the scale he deserves to come later, when the public health situation makes it possible. To help defray the numerous costs associated with his death, particularly the cremation, I am starting a GoFundMe campaign to help Dave's family out.

Both they and I realize that we're living through difficult times, and not everyone may be in a position to support the campaign the way they would like. If you aren't in a position to do so, that is no problem. We all really hope to see you at the celebration of his life. But if you are in a position to help out, please do so. It will solve immediate financial needs for Nicole and Dave's father.

Any extra funds that arrive that go beyond these costs will be used to help his family members take the necessary next steps in their lives without Dave.

We only hope that Dave knows how many people in the Windsor music scene his music and his kindness touched through the years.
