Help support Emily Wilcher as she 86s cancer

If you're in the Nashville hospitality scene, you undoubtedly know Emily Wilcher. She's a force of nature, a badass, a bar wizard, an incredible friend and wife, a hype-man, a dog lover, and basically a stand-up comedian, all rolled into one package.

A couple of weeks ago, a persistent cough she had been dealing with landed her in the ER at Vanderbilt, where tests results and scans revealed alarming news: Emily has cancer. As of today, doctors are unsure where her cancer originated--scans, tests, and hospital stays are ongoing. But, so far, we know that the cancer has metastasized and spread to her bone marrow, liver, spleen, lung fluid, and a mass in her chest cavity. There's no sugar-coating it: Emily has a hell of a fight ahead of her.

This news is incredibly difficult for Emily, her husband Andy, and everyone else in this world who knows and loves her. We all know Emily as a pillar of strength and determination-- she IS a fighter-- and this cancer is being met with 0 tolerance from Emily, her family, and all of her friends. We are asking everyone for all of the positivity, pep talks, laughs, binge TV recs, and love you have to give. But as we all also know, medical bills and hospital stays come at a very hefty price.

I'm hoping that by starting this fundraiser, we can take the stress and headache of finances off Emily and Andy's plate so they can focus all of their energy on this fight and the subsequent recovery ahead. Let's reciprocate the loyalty, friendship and support Emily has always been known for and send it back her way in spades.
