Support animals recover lost income due to COVID

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to help support LINTON ZOO CONSERVATION FUND, a small zoo with a big personality. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Like many businesses all around the world enforced closure due to the coronavirus pandemic has affected us dramatically.
We rely on the income we take from admissions and annual memberships (minus the VAT of course), we do not receive any grants or supplementary income from anywhere elsewhere, unlike some of the larger zoos.
Please be assured that despite the loss of income our animals have remained well fed and cared for by our dedicated zookeepers, vets and other essential zoo staff - just because we were closed did not mean that the work stopped, but neither did the bills!
It has always been our aim to create a place where endangered creatures could be brought to live safely and peacefully and where they could be happy, contented and breed. We have been rewarded by many native species, some of which have not been seen in the area for many years like red kite and bee orchid, also choosing to make this their home.
We now have a large collection of wildlife ranging from Madagascar tenrecs and snakes through giant tortoises, hornbills, toucans, parrots, owls and pheasants to beautiful snow leopards, magnificent Amur tiger, African lions, Hartmann's mountain zebra and Brazilian tapir. Each year new species are brought in, many of them being part of an international captive breeding programme, so the collection's constantly on the increase.
However, the cost of caring for these magnificent animals is huge. If you are able to help contribute towards the care of the animals, no matter how big or small of a donation you could make, we would be enormously grateful.
