Help Support Amanda's Family So She Can Heal

On December 18, 2021 Amanda Analla was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins T Cell Lymphoma, a rare cancer normally seen in middle aged Japanese men… she had been feeling unwell for some time, causing her to have to be on light duty from her work and using up much of her paid leave prior to the diagnosis. 

 

To say this year has been stressful and confusing for their family is an understatement. After the diagnosis, Amanda immediately started radiation treatments to counteract this aggressive cancer. Amanda, despite having to wear a plastic 'Jason' mask and admitting she is terrified by the process, continues to be upbeat saying she is grateful the cancer is an aggressive one since that's what most of the treatments are designed for.

 

Amanda is the main breadwinner for their family. Her wife Erica provides some part-time childcare for other officer’s children but it is scaled back given what the family is going through. Amanda and Erica have two beautiful young daughters who have shown true resiliency as their parents have battled this terrible disease. Let's help the Analla family so they can focus on helping Amanda heal her cancer and get back to the job she loves.
