Help support Aliyah and Baby Ember

It is with great sadness to share that Aliyah, her baby Ember and her Boyfriend Blade Crow were in a fatal accident on the evening of Feb 18th in Calgary.  They were waiting to cross the street when they were struck by a careless driver. One of the three, Aliyah’s 21-year-old boyfriend Blade Crow was pronounced dead on scene while 21-year-old Aliyah and her 1-year-old daughter Ember were transported by ambulance to two separate hospitals.

Ember was transported from the scene to the Alberta Children's Hospital with life threatening conditions while Aliyah was transported to the Foothills Medical Centre with multiple serious injuries. Both Aliyah and Ember have undergone surgery and it is unknown how long it will take them to recover. The two of them are not able to be together during this difficult time due to the serious injuries they both have sustained.

Aliyah and baby Ember have a long recovery a head of them. Ember is currently being sedated, and Aliyah will need another surgery for her hand. We are asking family and friends to please help Aliyah and Baby Ember while they undergo treatment and recovery. We understand that we are living in a time where it is hard to ask for financial assistance due to the pandemic but If there is anything you can give to support this family, it would be much appreciated. It could be a months before they are able to leave the hospital and in the meantime anything helps towards rent and bills. Thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
