Help Summer receive medical care

Hi , my name is Amanda , I am trying to raise money for my friend Jess and her daughter Summer. Summer is just 13 years old and has been suffering from an unknown illness for 15 weeks. Her symptoms consist of coughing up a significant amount of blood every day , chronic fatigue, weight loss , breathlessness , dizziness and an inability to eat anything without being in excruciating pain. During the last 15 weeks Summer has been taken to 3 different hospitals all of which have been unable to treat or diagnose her. Several a&e visits as well as ambulance call outs and Summer is not getting any better. The doctors have sat Summer and her Mother Jess down and simply said they don’t know what is wrong with Summer or how best to treat her. This has left Jess and Summer in such a scary place and it’s fair to say Summers mental health is deteriorating along with her physical health. The aim of this fundraiser is to help cover some of the costs Jess has endured due to not being able to work while caring for Summer ( Summer who hasn’t been able to attend school for the duration of this ordeal) and most importantly to raise funds to cover a private consultant in London to see Summer and hopefully get some answers and treatment.

 

Summer has gone from a fit and active healthy teenager to a child who is fearful to go to sleep incase she wakes up choking on her own blood and one who can’t function.
