Help Sue build her home after death of husband
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jasmine and I am fundraising for Sue, my Mum who sadly and suddenly lost her husband before he could finish their home.
In 2019 my Mum Sue Bagnall and her husband Ray decided to follow their dream and move to rural France to renovate a cottage and retire into it. Ray, a hugely talented man at everything he put his hands to, did all the work himself. With lockdowns, work moved slower than they had hoped. Sadly, on Sunday 17th October, Mum & Ray went for a bike ride and Ray suffered a heart attack. He couldn’t be revived .
My Mum Sue is now living in this cottage alone and faces the challenge of getting the cottage renovated without Ray’s labour and this was never, ever the plan. The cottage needs heating, joists, flooring, a stair case and so much more.
A Go-Fund me page has been created so that we can come together to support Mum Sue at this awful time. It’s enough for her to try and cope with the loss of Ray but to have such a huge project looming too, it’s unthinkable.
Please help with what ever you can afford.
