Help street cats in Guanica, Puerto Rico

There are an estimated 1 million stray or abandoned cats (and 500,000 dogs) in Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. I will be joining a team of volunteers from Homeward Tails shelter in Virginia assisting Guanicares, a rescue organization in Guanica, Puerto Rico. We will spend a week trapping cats for spay/neuter (TNR). There are several hundred cats/kittens living in a few blocks in Guanica. Funds will pay for airfare and anything beyond that will be given to the local rescue organization for cat food and supplies.
