Help Stephanie’s brain surgery fund

My daughter Stephanie is having brain surgery on January 25th to remove a portion of her brain that is causing her epileptic seizures. This procedure is to stop seizures that the medication is no longer working. She has anywhere from 1 to 10 seizures a nightStephanie is a bright, fun, loving, and beautiful young girl. She unfortunately goes through severe seizures that are very debilitating to her. At times after she has a seizure she is unable to articulate words. Nor is she able at times to even go to school because of interruption to her sleep. Which are very draining on her. It is very heartbreaking to watch my daughter go through these seizures.The funds that we are asking for is to help out with medical expenses and travel expenses and living expenses while we are here in Seattle for approximately 2-3 weeks, possibly longer. Depending of course on how well she does after surgery.
I have taken a necessary leave of absence from work. Unfortunately, I only have so many PTO hours available to compensate for my loss of wages, while being away from work. Also, John, Stephanie’s Dad is laid off until spring. We really appreciate all the help and all the prayers that we have received. Stephanie is still not out of the woods! The surgery she had today is to see what portion of the brain is actually causing the seizures. The neurological team here at Seattle Children’s Hospital will be tapering her off of her seizure medication to induce seizures. We were told that this is very risky with the probes on her brain that she could have a chance of paralysis. We appreciate all the prayers and donations as we are unable to receive any financial assistance due to the fact that I have insurance for Stephanie through my place of employment at Walmart.
