Help Stacey through a tough time
Donation protected
On November 7th, Stacey went out to spend a morning deer hunting. Her plans quickly changed......as she climbed into her tree stand the step broke and she fell out. She broke both the bones in her right leg and also dislocated her ankle. She was sent by ambulance to Springfield for surgery but they weren’t able to do surgery that day due to the swelling. Once she has the surgery, she will be non weight bearing for 10 weeks and will then have physical therapy after that. Stacey runs a daycare, and due to the fact that she couldn’t be up on her leg and adequately care for the kiddos, she was forced to make a really hard decision to close her daycare that she loves so much. This means that their 2 income family abruptly changed to a 1 income family. As if this wasn’t bad enough, she had a complication and developed a pulmonary embolus (blood clot in her lungs) and is currently in the hospital which will delay surgery even longer, meaning longer off work. Stacey doesn’t have short term disability insurance, so this gofundme will help offset medical costs and the loss of her income for 3-4 months.
