Help Stacy & Her Family Rebuild

Due to the devastating damage of Hurricane Michael, our dear friend, and colleague, Stacy Belinski, has suffered overwhelming damage to her home in Greensboro, Florida.  

Stacy has been a long time employee of New Leaf Market Co-op in our Wellness department. You may have received help from her when you’ve visited our Wellness department or you may have seen her on our social media pages. She is also the creator and owner of Sweet Little Something’s Candles, which is her home-based business. Stacy is a mother of three young children (two girls and a boy). 

The damage to her home has been extensive. Her home was completely cut in half by one of the massive trees in the yard. This has led to water coming in her home and the ceiling caving in. ALL of the families personal belongings have been damaged by mud and water -- furniture, clothes, kids room, electronics, and family keepsakes. Anything you would imagine in a household will need to be replaced.  And of course, she can no longer run her candle making business because her supplies and equipment have also been destroyed. As of now, her home is uninhabitable and all Stacy the kids have left are the clothes on their backs. 

Currently, Stacy is lucky enough to have a safe temporary place to stay but it is an hour and a half away from Tallahassee. Stacy and her kids will need to find a way to get into a new place and completely start over. As you may imagine, this can be extremely stressful for a mom.  

We want Stacy and her family to get back to normal as soon as possible. New Leaf Market Co-op wishes to extend as much support as possible during this time because we know; Stacey would immediately do the same for any of us.

We are raising money to help with the cost of finding a new place to live in town and the cost of replacing other damages she has encountered. 100% of the money raised will go directly to Stacy and her family.
