Help Spooky Get Vet Care

Spooky made a fleeting appearance at my house this summer as an adorable, sprightly tiny kitten. After disappearing for a month or more, this beautiful creature reappeared, starving and scared. Now that Spooky has settled in to regular meals here, and lives on my porch, I have been able to see the extreme nature of the eye injury. Not only is Spooky in pain, but in fact, the injury is worse than ever. It will be expensive to care for this cat. I do not like to call Spooky a "feral" cat, but I think it's safe to say that this dearheart has had a challenging life on the streets, probably experiencing early mother loss and fighting to survive since day one.

Thank you to the Palo Alto Humane Society for helping me find a veterinarian to provide much needed care. It is challenging to even find veterinarians that are open because of widespread lockdowns.
