Help Sorin recover from Harvey

My name is Paolo Osgnach and I live in Katy, Texas.
I would like to help my friend and co-worker Sorin Sohrabi get back on his feet. Hurricane Harvey partially flooded his home and damaged his car beyond repair. Despite his personal situation caused by the storm he is helping relentlessly his neighbors and his community, above and beyond. He has been volunteering night shifts at the NRG stadium shelter while working his job during the day, and after giving shelter to 30 neighbors while the storm was still posing danger to everyone.
Sorin is one of the most generous and giving persons I have ever met. Sorin lost his mother earlier this year and went through a divorce. He lives with his 12 year old daughther Hannah. A year ago he and Hannah were trapped in a flooded underpass in Houston and were rescued. The car was a total lost and with it the $2500 downpayment. This year, same story, with the addition to the home being flooded. These unfortunate events have wiped out all his savings.
This family deserves a break and some help. As a minumum I would like to help raise $2500 for the car lease by September 15.
Anything exceeding can go toward the home repairs which are expected to cost approx. $10,000 as he does not have flood insurance.
Every contribution, however small, is going to be very meaningful. Thank you for helping our friend Sorin.
