Help Single Mom from Eviction

I'm starting this campaign for a friend in need. She is a single mom and victim of domestic violence who did the right thing by leaving her husband 6 months ago. She is a professional with a steady office job trying to make ends meet for herself and her two boys while her ex-husband is unemployed and not providing child support. She needs this money by April 6, 2018 or she will be evicted. It would mean so much if she could get some help during this rough time. See her story below:

Hello All. I writing to you today in desperate need of any immediate help. I’ve been struggling since getting a divorce a few months ago to keep a roof over me and my two young children’s heads. We have used all available resources and have exhausted all our savings, and we need help with $2,000.00 for February and March’s rent to keep us from being becoming homeless and losing everything. No one knows the continuous worry and heartache that this brings until this kind of situation is your own reality. Not to mention with two young children it’s just heart wrenching to fathom as a mother, that you can’t provide for them the basics. Its feels like we just can’t catch a break! Going from one crisis to the next.  After recently getting a divorce from my ex-husband to escape the daily physical, and mental abuse, I decided that the financial security of having him in our lives wasn’t more important than our safety. Despite it all, I’m grateful to say that I am working, and just trying to get on track to avoid this all!

We only have a few weeks to get the rent money together before eviction on April 6, 2018. This is our last resort. Please know that my children and I would greatly appreciate any help that you could offer to us. I am worried and scared, and this is something, no child should ever have to go through.  Losing their childhood home and watching their family and belongings out on the street.
