What happened?
Breanna McGowen is a single mother who works for DoorDash as her only income to provide for her two young sons, one of which is autistic and intellectually disabled and requires extra care.
On Sunday April 25th, Breanna was working for DoorDash and as she was picking up an order her car was stolen from the parking lot. The man who stole her car was on drugs and ran from the police and crashed her car into a ditch.
The car is now completely totaled and was towed to a lot about 3 hours away from where she lives. Breanna has spoken with her insurance and they have advised that since she was not using her car for personal use when the car was stolen, her policy is now void. They are not going to help her with any of the towing fees or help with any of the damages of the car.
She has reached out to DoorDash but things don't look good.
What is needed?
Breanna is in desperate need for our help to raise money for another vehicle. Without a car, she cannot work to provide for her and her children, she cannot take them to school and doctor's appointments, and soon she will not be able to pay her bills, since her only source of income is gone.
Breanna is always the first person to offer help and care for others. We know that times are hard for many people, but if you can offer any help it will go to a loving mother who tries her best to help those around her.
Breanna had just finished paying the car off and now has no vehicle. If we can raise enough money to get her into a car she will be able to provide for her children and avoid falling behind on her bills.
