Help Sierra Pay her Medical Bills

Donation protected
Sierra became sick, three almost four years ago. She has been in and out of the children’s/regular hospitals since she was 17. She has had many tests, procedures, and therapies done. Polyps were found, and the original diagnosis of ulcerative colitis was diagnosed in 2017. In June of 2020 the colorectal surgeon confirmed that Sierra had Colonic Inertia, and her entire left side of her large intestine was diseased/damaged. She endured years of suffering from pain, not being able to eat, and taking medications that made her sick. Sierra never gave up and always kept going on like nothing was wrong. On July 17, 2020 Sierra went in for a total colectomy with IRA, and stayed in the hospital for 5 days following. On June 8, 2020 she was rushed to the ER, to find out that the IRA connection had leaked and caused an abscess filling her body with infection. She was moments from going septic and taken to emergency surgery to clean out the infection and to place a drain in the abscess. Sierra found out in the next few days of stay at the hospital that she had E. Coli and a blood clot in her left lung. The emergency surgery did not work and she was becoming very ill, she had three blood transfusions and decided to switch surgeons. The new surgeon performed surgery on August 13, 2020 and was able to place an ileostomy bag, clean out some scar tissue, and place an irrigation drain in the abscess. Soon after this surgery Sierra began to feel much better and her numbers slowly improved, she had a fourth surgery on August 20, 2020 to close her incision and remove the irrigation drains. Sierra was released from the hospital after being there 20 days. Since being home Sierra has endured many hardships and continues to fight, she is now suffering from liver damage due to all of the trauma. Sierra will have surgery in October to reverse the ileostomy bag, ensure the leak is sealed, and clean out more scar tissue from her pelvis to ensure she can have children in the future.
Her family is not one to ask for money, but through prayer, faith, and support from everyone, please help donate any amount and we will be forever thankful! Thank you everyone
