Help Sheriff the Aussie

Donation protected
Earlier this afternoon Sheriff was playing with his brother Outlaw in our front yard when he noticed an unfamiliar neighborhood cat and chased it across the street, I chased after him and when he realized what he was doing he immediately ran back to our yard and that's when he got hit by a speeding car. I saw it seconds before and screamed for her to stop. He went under the front tire and then the back tire. It was a horrific moment that I cannot get out of my head, he got up and ran inside and went under our bed. My husband and I immediately grabbed a towel and drove straight to the VCA Animal Hospital. He has abdominal bleeding that they said was under control and he is carrying his hind legs low so the vets believe that he may have some pelvic issues. They wanted to send him to radiology, but they wouldn't do anything further until we put down $3,300 as a deposit. The estimate was $4,300. We offered to put $1,000 down to start and do a payment plan but they wouldn't accept the offer. I had been at the the hospital for 7 hours trying my best to figure out a solution. I tried applying for Care Credit and I was was denied due to my credit and other medical bills I'm dealing with already. We had to leave the hospital because we couldn't put down the $3,300 deposit. We are currently at a new smaller hospital that are being so kind and working with us. They are doing an X-ray for $250 that we can pay for now, but he will need to stay over night possibly for two nights and he will need further vet visits, medication, and at home care. He was walking around to the car and then he refused to walk or stand up, they told me the pain medication they gave him at the other hospital could be masking the pain and he may have broken bones. If anyone can help, we will be forever grateful. I can't lose my baby, him and his brother are my world. My life revolves around them and the thought of waking up every morning without my Sheriff squeaking his favorite to get me out of bed is heart wrenching. He has brightened up our family with his quirkiness and the amount of memories we have created as a family is something that cannot end here. He is only 11 months, his birthday is on Halloween. Thank you to anyone that can help or even keep him in your thoughts.
