Help Shatha's family escape from war-torn Gaza

My name is Valentina Maggiulli, I am from Switzerland but have worked for many years as an international expert in development cooperation in Palestine. I am fundraising for my dear friend Shatha and her family to support them in escaping the horrors of the Gaza war and building up a new future elsewhere. Please support her cause and plea.

Join us in our fight for survival. My name is Shatha Kuhail, and I am reaching out to share my family's story with you. I live in Gaza City in Palestine with my small family. We are facing unimaginable challenges due to the ongoing destructive war. I am 25 years old and I know all too well the horrors of war as I have experienced many since my childhood. Sadly, now my two young children have to experience it too. We have lost many family members to this war aleady.

I have been dreaming of a peaceful life for me and my family, but the reality in Gaza is dire. We live in constant fear, surrounded by violoce and deprivation. We spend our days in desperation without access to basic necessities like electricity, food clean water or healthcare. It is a struggle just to survive each day. We eat animal food and constantly worry that one of us gets ill. Since there is no hospitals or doctors if you get ill, you will die. That is the reality of life here. Nobody should have to experience this, children the least of all. Yet, we perservere and hope for the best every day.

However, we've reached a breaking point. We can no longer endure this suffering and uncertainty. Living in constant fear has taken its toll on all of us, especially my children. I refuse to let my children grow up in such a dangerous environment, without access to education, play, or safety. They deserve better. We all deserve better!

With your help, we hope to make a change. We want to leave the battlefield that our country has turned into. I hold a bachelor's degree in English language and have experience in content writing and NGOs. My husband and I are ready to relocate to a safer place where we can provide our children with the life they deserve – a life free from war

and fear.
