Help Shadows Spine

Shadow had gotten out of our backyard on July 1 2017. After posting everywhere calling all shelters visiting all shelters to find him. NOTHING. Well today I got the call our family has been waiting for. They found Shadow!!!! Are family was so happy to pick him up I forgot to put my shoes on. As my 5 year old daughter and I sat patiently for the officer to arrive with our Shadow. Shadow was here!!! It was the best feeling to see my boy so happy to see me. But he is injured. So just like I would do for one of my children my husband jumped in the car with poor shadow and took him to the Animal hospital in Clark's Summit. He has a broken spine!!!! I literally died when my husband told me. He needs spine surgery and it's going to cost up to $3500. He asked the vet was he got by a car? No it was blunt force trauma to my baby boys back!!! Someone struck my baby. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please spread like wild fire. Thank you in advance!!!$
