Help Seth Complete His Surgeries

Dear Friends of Seth,
Seth could use our help. He needs to have his transition surgeries completed and as soon as possible due to a couple of factors:
1) He has been tolerating a medical issue that is directly connected to his transition which has worsened and is now intolerable.
2) Anna and Seth are expecting twins (!!) this summer. He needs to get this completed before he and Anna are parents, as there won't be another good time to have surgery for approximately 18-22 years after the kids are here. ((*SO excited*!!))
3) As you are all aware, the current administration in the White House is hostile to transgender people and continued insurance coverage for transgender medical care is anything but a certainty.
The time is now. Well, actually it's in April, when he is scheduled for surgery in Scottsdale, Arizona, with the most qualified surgeons for his needs.
Seth has been working hard since December to make the arrangements necessary to achieve this. He has seen multiple providers in Washington and Arizona, compiled a portfolio of required documentation, endured invasive diagnostic procedures, and has spent countless hours on the phone with his insurance provider and the staff of the surgeon's office to get his insurance company to work with these surgeons.
Seth has assembled a team to accompany him to Scottsdale, see him through his surgery and hospitalization, and support him while he recuperates enough in Scottsdale to fly home. He'll be away for almost 3 weeks. Although it appears the surgery will be covered by his insurance company and he will have paid leave from work, the expenses related to travel, accommodations, rental car, and support team still need to be covered.
Our beloved Seth has dedicated his professional life and a great portion of his personal time to helping others. This is and has always been his passion and his purpose. Seth has likely directly helped any and all of us a great many times. Now would be a most welcome opportunity to help him get to a better "new normal", just in time to devote even more of himself to his next great adventure--fatherhood.
As always, ANY amount will be gratefully received and put to good use, so please don't be deterred by thinking your donation would be "too small", if dollars are not plentiful for you. Even $5 donations will help get us to our goal.
