Help Sergei fight Stage IV stomach cancer

In November 2023 husband and father of three Sergei Demcenkovas was diagnosed with stomach cancer. The initial plan was for Sergei to have surgery to remove the tumour in April 2024 but this was postponed until 11 May 2024. A week before the operation was due to take place it was cancelled with the reason stated that the cancer had spread to the back. However, no biopsy was done to confirm if it had indeed spread. Instead ever since Sergei has been on consecutive rounds of chemotherapy, 16-17 at the time of writing, with seemingly no signs of plan to remove the tumour.

In June 2024 Sergei was told by doctors that he had only 6-24 months to live. However, with an operation there might be a real chance of increasing this prognosis . The NHS, which Sergei has worked for 24 years and paid into for the same amount of time, will not even investigate further let alone operate.The only chance Sergei has of having this potentially life saving operation is to go abroad and pay privately.

Sergei is a loving husband and father of three young girls. He wants to make sure he is around for his family as long as possible. Having this operation will give him and his family hope of many more days together.
