Help send me back to Jemo

My church, Bismarck Community Church, Bismarck, ND began a partnership with the Jemo church in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 7 years ago, through an organization called Children's HopeChest.  Instead of flooding them with money, clothes and gifts, we instead took on the organizations model of reaching out, help them survive, thrive then become self sufficient.  

The first trip my wife, Wanda, and I went on in 2014 was medical mission. The team took 25 suitcases full of supplies and material for the kids. There were also packets of letters and photos from sponsors back in America for the 215 sponsored children.  We also took 15 large totes with medical supplies for medical care of the children.  Wanda alone taught proper dental care for all those children, applying flouride showed them how to brush and floss.  Since the do not have birth records, she was able to accurately determine their ages by observing their teeth.

Shortly after we returned, Wanda suddenly died from heart complications.  Every year since then, except 2017, I have returned to see my friends and 2 sponsor-sons.  To this day they still hold Wanda in high regard.

The people of Jemo, Addis Abab and Ethiopia have not only become my friends but my family.  I anticipate each trip in anticipation of seeing them again.

I have retired the end of 2019 and must live on a limited budget under social security.  It will cost nearly $4000 to go.  I am praying that through this GoFundMe account I can raise the needed funds. Thank you for your contributions!
