I am raising money to support myself during my music therapy internship in Port Angelas! It begins in January of 2019 and will be 40hrs/wk for 6mo. Internship is the final step in which I will be earning my remaining required clinical hours before becoming eligible to take the board exam.
Music therapy increases quality of life in the people receiving it and their loved ones. After certification, I will continue working in early childhood as well as branch out to older adults in memory care and hospice. I am thrilled to use these humanitarian skills to help others!
It's been an incredible 2 years of music therapy classes and biology & math I have not been exposed to for 20yrs. :) I have learned a lot about the world, human beings, and have grown so much.
Now in the final stages, I am working hard to finish my last few classes and save enough money for me and my kitties to live off of for 6months. Your contributions will ensure that I am able to live my dream!
