Help send Glenburn Chess Team to Nationals

As many of you may know, the Glenburn Chess Team won the 2022 Maine Middle School Chess Championship.. The Glenburn Chess Team is coached by Tom Coleman. He will be bringing 11 players across the country to represent the great State of Maine. They earned this honor by winning at the Maine Scholastics Chess Team Championships on March 12th at Lewiston High School. Now they want the chance to compete at the National Middle School (K-8) Championship in Grapevine, Texas (just outside of Dallas) beginning Friday, April 29th and ending on Sunday, May 1st. This is the first time that the Glenburn School has won the state championship and the first time attempting to head to nationals. We would like to ask our many fans, friends, chess enthusiasts, businesses, and communities to assist these Glenburn Team members on this trip. The donations that will be collected will go towards covering the costs of airfare, lodging, registration, and related expenses. Any proceeds that go above and beyond our goal will be used to support the Glenburn Chess program in ways such as chess sets and future tournaments, etc. Please consider helping the Glenburn Chess Team reach their goal.
