Help save sweet luna

Okay so i had one of these up but deleted it for the fact of i surrendered luna but the rescue is needed help raising money for the surgery she had.

Luna was not feeling very good and i had noticed she hadn’t ate in a day or two, sometimes she does that when she’s not feeling good and she will throw up and be back to normal, well unfortunately it wasn’t one of those times. She lost her ability to walk, she was lethargic, her breathing was labored and then to make everything worse it seemed like she had blood in her stool. A mother’s instincts are never wrong, i started getting this horrible feeling she wasn’t going to make it through the night so I panicked and had my friend take us to the emergency vet. She got put on fluids and was overall stable and they said she could go home with me that night but have to be seen immediately in the morning. Well things didn’t go as planned, She started getting pale and cold and wasn’t able to retain heat so they kept her overnight to monitor her more. I called in the morning to see how she was and they told me it was a lot worse then they had thought, her uterus was infected and full of puss and if it burst she wasn’t going to make it. My nightmare had become a reality, I am a songle mom with a son(2 years old) a dog and a cat, unfortunately i didn’t have the funds to be able take her in so i surrendered her to beauties and beasts. My son and I have been absolutely broken by this decision but I know it saved her life so i’m content with the decision. I’ve had luna since the beginning she was beat on and not fed so i would hop the fence and love her feed her and water her everyday until i decided to just take her. Her previous owner then got evicted so I am glad i did it when i did. I’ve had her ever since she was by my side every night throughout my whole pregnancy. She loves my son and my son adores her. He keeps asking where Luna is and when she’s coming home :(
