Help Save Our Friend, Farmer Shelly

As you all know, times are extremely tough for all of our Farmers. I have started this "gofundme" page to support a very good friend of ours, Shelly. Shelly operates a huge farm in Hargraves which is close to Mudgee and she runs cattle and sheep. She is one of the hardest working women I have ever had the privilege of knowing and her farm means a lot to her as it's been in her family for over 150 years.  This is the toughest time she's every experienced, in the last couple of weeks she's lost her bull and 9 of her cows. We have a property right near Shelly's and when we visit in the school holidays with our big group of friends, she is always so welcoming and all of the children absolutely adore her. She always takes time out of her busy schedule to show our kids around her farm, lets them help her feed the cattle and spends a lot of time with all of us educating us on her farm.

Shelly, as all of our friends who have met her know, is a very proud woman. She has reached out saying that she's desperately in need of vitamin blocks, grain and hay as there is "nothing in the paddocks" - All of the cattle are so hungry.  We believe in our community, we believe in having each other’s back, and we believe in the Aussie spirit, therefore we believe that together, we can make a huge difference to support Shelly. We can all spare $5 - some of us more - so please collect that small change and help us make a BIG difference to our beautiful friend's life at this very difficult time for her.
