My little Sugar is having a medical emergency. She's swollen from what we are hoping is an abscess somewhere in her paw or leg. The swelling has taken over most of her body in just over three days. We have a CT scan scheduled for tomorrow and are hoping to locate the reason why the swelling has occurred, and fix it by going in for surgery. The estimate I was given was anywhere from 5-8,000 dollars for the basic cost of a CT scan and minor surgery. If they cannot find the cause more tests and operations are to come. I cannot afford this cost, nor can I expect my family to cover medical expenses. I'm going to BECU tomorrow after I drop her off at the vet for her CT. I need some help guys.
