Help Save Mitra's Life!

My husband, Mitra Adhikari (Vishnu), aged 37, has been on Intensive Care Unit at University of Pennsylvania Hospital since 25th November, after being transferred from Virginia’s Reston Hospital Center. He was admitted to Reston on 21st November after a sudden loss of consciousness. According to the medical team taking care of him, he has a severe internal bleeding with serious problem in liver. The problem is further exacerbated by his irregular blood clotting process for which he is under medication for past several years. As he awaits major surgery in next couple of weeks—that may be performed should his blood flow becomes stable and the adequate money is in place, and we are told, can go either way—we are in dire need of your support—emotional, financial, or otherwise. Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts.

We are a working-class family of three with our 3 years old son. With the alarming ICU and medication costs and the insurance policy that does not cover many of these expenses, we’re already pushed into crisis.  An extended ICU stay of the sole breadwinner of our family has made our situation even grimmer. I am kindly requesting all of you to support us in this hour of need. Your small help would mean a lot to us.
