Help save Main street bakery

Hello everyone. Main Street Bakery's last official day of business in Delta will be on Saturday September 22nd which will also be our 1 year Anniversary. We are deeply sorry, but we are being forced to close. A certain individual which is a local business owner complained to the Fire Marshall that we didn't have a fire suppression system over our donut fryer. We have a K (kitchen) rated fire extinguisher at this time. The fire suppression system was not required when we 1st opened due to the size of the fryer we are using. However rules and regulations have changed within the year that we have officially been open. The system is very expensive and way out of our budget. We have tried to figure out different options to keep us in the game, but nothing is working out in our favor at this time. We are by no means done with our business. We will basically be taking a break and figuring out a better way. We are staying positive and using this as motivation for future success. It took us almost 2 1/2 years to open our doors due to a grueling and often times very unfair inspection process which basically broke us financially. We still decided at that time to continue and push forward. We have zero regrets for doing so! We have been very blessed to have the support of a great community and many people in the surrounding area and beyond for that matter! Word of our products have travelled a very long ways thanks to our many wonderful supporters. We want to thank each and every one of you! You are all awesome to say the least! Thank you to the business owner who complained to try to self benefit from our potential demise. You did the very opposite! You fueled our fire that much more and we are now that much more motivated to succeed thanks to your dirty business tactics! Great job! We will be competing in the Glass City Donut Festival next Friday at Fallen Timbers. We are hoping to show everyone that has not yet experienced our donuts what we are capable of producing!
